




ASSEMBLY TYPE TUNNEL KILN is based on a modular concept which combines the advantages of the well-established, durable wall and roof construction proven in hundreds of Tunnel kilns with a new type of quick set up method.
Due to the prefabricated wall elements, this kiln, which from its outward appearance is hardly distinguishable from a common tunnel kiln, could be erected within a fraction of the normal construction time – a great advantage in situations when a short construction time is unavoidable.
Moreover, the separate prefabrication of the modules allows the building site and the construction area to be kept almost free from building materials, easily accessible and clean.
Another advantage also contributed to convincing BRICKMAC module system: In case of a factory relocation the modular kiln construction system facilitates the non-destructive dismantling and the dispatch of the individual elements.
Assembly tunnel kilns is vary in width and length, some kiln may be over 30 feet width and 500 feet long. Fuel for kiln firing could be coal, petcoke, coal gas, natural gas, biomass gas, furnace oil, etc.

Short construction time: traditional tunnel kiln takes over 40 workers and 6-10 months for masonry work, while modular kiln takes merely 6-10 workers and 1-2 months.
Light weight kiln body (total weight of tunnel kiln is approx. 300 tons), so the foundation are simple ans less concrete, while normal tunnel kiln use heavy refractory bricks which over 500 tons and need a lot of building materials. 2-2)Transport cost is less due to light weight.
Less than 10 technicians within two months construction period which could save a lot of labor cost ,tickets fee, accommodation, visa fee and management cost.
All modular tunnel kiln has standard assemblies , and all the firing holes with accurate position exactly as design which ensure the accurate operation. Normal masonry tunnel kiln: constructed by labor and not easy for quality control.
Tunnel Kiln is computer-controlled, continuously operating car-bottom oven. Computer technology allows kiln car movement through the kiln to be controlled for changes in firing curves and firing temperatures. Automatic controls can be programmed to make firing changes for differences in product size and color.
Another advantage is in case of a factory relocation the modular kiln construction system facilitates the non-destructive dismantling and the dispatch of the individual elements. The traditional tunnel kiln is not possible to relocation due to masonry structure.
