Shuttle kiln is a car-bottom intermittent kiln, in which one or multiple kiln carts can be loaded. Because the kiln carts move in and out like a drawer, it is also called “drawer kiln”. It widely adopted in ceramics, refractory materials, building materials, and related industries, the shuttle kiln is well known for its excellent sealing performance, uniform temperature distribution, and remarkable energy-saving effect.
Kiln Body usually made of welded steel structure with multiple layers composite structure (cordierite-mullite brick + lightweight high-alumina brick + ceramic fiber + steel plate), thickness approx. 500–1000 mm). Kiln Roof is normally in Arch or flat roof design, composed of JM26 cordierite-mullite brick, lightweight high-alumina brick, and ceramic fiber blanket.
